Privacy Policy
As part of the Trustix Security Products Inc. ("TSP") pledge to our Subscribers, we recognize and respect your right to privacy. This privacy policy informs you of the privacy practices employed in the provision of our Hacker Guardian products, services and website. Hacker Guardian Subscriber Agreement
This Privacy Policy statement supplements the practices and policies stated within the Hacker Guardian Subscriber Agreement. Please refer to this document for the terms and conditions associated with your use of our services.
Subscription Enrollment
When subscribing for services, you will be required to provide certain information. The exact informational requirements are set out in the relevant Subscriber Agreement. All information collected will be subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Hacker Guardian and its affiliates.
Informational Collection and Use/Sharing Information
Hacker Guardian has built its electronic service with your privacy and security in mind. Hacker Guardian does not collect any information about you without your consent. You choose which data to share with whom. All data relating to your account is kept private and secure within the Hacker Guardian service. This data is not shared with outside parties except as provided herein. As part of the service offerings, you will be prompted for information when registering for services, downloading a product or requesting further information.
Hacker Guardian does collect and use the following information from you in efforts to provide a better user experience:
- IP Address/OS/Software - Your IP or "Internet Provider" address, operating system (i.e. Windows 95), browser software (ie, Netscape Communicator), and other site usage data is used to gather broad demographic information. This data is viewed in aggregate, and helps us serve you by allowing us to understand how visitors navigate our website. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Personally Identifiable Information
Hacker Guardian will not disclose your personally identifiable information to any third party without your consent, except in limited circumstances to our business partners and affiliates with whom we have established agreements that protect consumer privacy. We may contact you about offers and opportunities our business partners and affiliates may have to offer. We may also contact you to conduct surveys and gather feedback.
Information Beyond the Control of Hacker Guardian
This Hacker Guardian privacy policy does not extend to any information that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, and therefore beyond the control of Hacker Guardian. The policy is not to be applied in any manner contrary to applicable law or governmental regulation. Hacker Guardian may disclose your personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) conform to the requirements of the law or comply with governmental orders, court orders, or legal process served on Hacker Guardian; or (2) protect and defend the property or rights of Hacker Guardian, or the users of Hacker Guardian products and services.
Information Request
Hacker Guardian provides the ability to request further information or ask questions to the support team by displaying email links throughout the website. If you elect to use such links you may be requested to provide additional information depending on the nature of the contact. Typically, such additional information may include further contact details, and in the case of technical support, additional information about your PC configuration may be required to aid a prompt a accurate response to the query.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on a computer's hard disk containing information about the owner. Hacker Guardian employs the use of cookies to help keep track of your user profile. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information and we do not share them with any other party. Our partners may also use cookies, but Hacker Guardian does not exercise any access or control of such cookies.

This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website. Hacker Guardian has no control over the accuracy of information displayed by such websites.
Anti-Spam Policy
Hacker Guardian does not employ the use of spam for propagating its product awareness or special offers.
Security
Hacker Guardian has built its electronic service with the high levels of security to provide safety and privacy of transaction data. All transaction data entered into the Hacker Guardian website is automatically encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Version 3, an advanced industry security standard that utilizes sophisticated levels of data protection and integrity. You will be given your own ID and password.
All of your information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example billing administration or the development team) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure your information is protected. The servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Service Updates
Established Subscribers may occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our Subscribers we present the option not to receive these types of communications. We also send the user service announcement updates. You are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which may contain important security information about the service.
Changes
Please check this page periodically for changes in our Privacy Policy. If any subsequent changes are made to our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on the policy page so that you are always aware of what information is collected, how it is used and under what circumstances it may be disclosed.
Choice/Opt-Out
You are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having information used for purposes not directly related to the Hacker Guardian service offering at the point where the information is requested. For example, the application provides Subscribers with an 'opt-out' mechanism so Subscribers that prefer not to receive any marketing material, can request to have their email address kept off of our lists.
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials from our partners, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by emailing Hacker Guardian at webmaster@hackerguardian.com.
